WeMade, which recently launched MIR M worldwide, has inked an MOU with Nine66, a subsidiary of Savvy Games Group, to advance the growth of the Saudi Arabian gaming sector.
In several Middle Eastern nations, including Saudi Arabia, MIR M, the company’s flagship game, now dominates the RPG video game market.
The announcement came after business negotiations during the LEAP Tech Conference held in Riyadh from February 6 to 9, 2023.
The Saudi capital welcomed more than 170,000 people and hundreds of speakers from different nations.
Savvy Game’s long-term goal is to drive the expansion and development of the gaming and esports industries in Saudi Arabia. The group comprises five different companies that work in various fields, including investing, esports, and game creation.
Nine66 offers business owners and innovators in the games sector what they require to advance their operations, accelerate their work, and make a genuine contribution to the gaming industry.
WEMADE, meantime, is one of the longest-running and most reputable South Korean game firms. The publicly listed business that created the “The Legend of Mir” series of MMORPGs has amassed millions of users worldwide, and its Middle Eastern player base is expanding.
WeMade aims to reform the Saudi Arabian gaming industry
WEMADE has committed to assisting the regional gaming industry through this partnership by working with Saudi game developers and offering training and instructional materials.
Wemade is a pioneer in the Korean video game industry. With a focus on customizing the game experience, the company is currently concentrating on converting to the blockchain (NFT, DeFi) and metaverse technologies.
With the help of blockchain technology, the South Korean gaming company hopes to revolutionize commonplace games and make its WEMIX token a valuable asset in the gaming sector.
While more than 80 percent of Saudi Arabia’s 36 million people identify as gamers, the country is already a market leader in the Middle East.
The Saudi gaming industry is anticipated to benefit from recent government-led strategic efforts.
The collaboration will explore programs to strengthen the Saudi Arabian gaming sector and open new prospects for creators and players by availing of knowledge transfer, regional event sponsorship, and establishing regional networks.
The South Korean gaming company’s most recent action in the area is partnering with Nine66. WEMADE announced in January that it established a subsidiary in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The Korean gaming company also intends to establish a second location in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) to collaborate on initiatives with regional businesses.
