Korean startup Ward Games corporation is coming up with an exciting game called Zooports – the Football for all online American football game lovers. Zooports is an online multiplayer American football game that has fancy animal characters playing. Founded in 2022, Ward Games will launch the mobile sports game in the first quarter of next year.
Jong Ha Shin and Seung Heon Shin founded Ward Games with the aim of bringing in a fresh take on online sports games. Ward Games has signed four NDA contracts with South Korea and Japan game publishers for game development. The company raised $170k in funds from investors and government support projects.
The mobile game Zooports — The Football, which has been in development since 2020, is a casual action sports game for iOS and Android. The format of the game is simple, relying on a two-button format. Rounds run three minutes or less, making the action fast-paced and low-investment. Ward Games’ goal is to make it easier for people to play American football in a mobile environment.
First quarter of next year, the company will have a soft launch of Zooports – The Football in Japan and South America. The startup will launch the game in the USA next year too. Ward Games will be participating at the Gamescom 2022 in Germany in August 2022 as part of KOCCA’s South Korean game developers delegation.
