In December 2018, Valve added a battle royale mode in CSGO called Danger Zone. In this mode, 18 players or nine teams fight with each other in a shrinking arena to come out top. Danger Zone ranks are different from the game’s primary ranking system. In 2019, Valve added ranks to the Danger Zone mode.
CSGO Danger Zone Ranks
CSGO ranks system allows players to show off their capabilities and performance. Ranks in CSGO are earned by winning matches & standing apart from the crowd. CSGO Danger Zone ranks were added to track the recent performance of a player. In order to climb up the ranks in CSGO Danger Zone mode, you have to keep up your performance.
Players love the idea of ranks in CSGO as it’s the best way to showcase your worth. Danger Zone ranks will be used to match people with similar-ranked opponents. Note players can play with the people in their friend list without worrying about the CSGO ranks system.
The Fifteen CSGO Danger Zone Ranks
In total, there are fifteen CSGO Danger Zone ranks. The fifteen ranks are split up into 6 types. Lab Rat I & Lab Rat II are the first two ranks of the Danger Zone ranks in CSGO. Newbie players who are just starting out can easily rank up to Lab Rat I & Lab Rat II. Next up, players can achieve Sprinting Hare I and Sprinting Hare II with practice and good performance.
The average player base of CSGO Danger Zone falls into the Wild Scout rank category. This rank is divided into three sections, Wild Scout I, Wild Scout II & Wild Scout Elite. Most players of the Danger Zone mode are somewhere between Wild Scout I & Wild Scout II.
Now comes the rank section for the world-class players only. The Hunter Fox section consists of four separate ranks, Hunter Fox I, Hunter Fox II, Hunter Fox III & Hunter Fox Elite. Hours of practice, some luck & phenomenal capabilities can help you to rank-up in the Hunter Fox phase.
Only the legendary players of CSGO Danger Zone are able to get the Wolf badge. This rank is split into three separate badges, Timber Wolf, Ember Wolf & Wildfire Wolf. The masterminds of the game are able to claim the Wolf rank with months of dedicated practice.
The last rank of the Danger Zone ranks is very rare. You’ll only see the 1 percent of CSGO community rock The Howling Alpha badge on their profile. Real OGS of the game have The Howling Alpha rank.
Ranking Up & Getting Badges
CSGO ranks system is not bias nor anyone can exploit it to rank-up fast. What a player can do is tailor the game settings, practice aim, learn recoil patterns, play with professional players to gain experience, and eventually earn a higher rank.
