In its October update, the co-op horror survival game Dead by Daylight has begun working with the KRAFTON Inc. battle royale titles PUBG and New State Mobile. The update is timed for Halloween.
Developer Krafton adds that the collaboration’s theme, “Fright for Survival,” emphasizes the Halloween mood while concentrating on each game’s fundamental survival concepts. The special hide-and-seek game mode, which takes place in Paradiso on the new Akinta map, is thrillingly portrayed in the recently released video.
Blood and gift wait in the Fog
More short-form content will start to be released to commemorate Halloween on October 26. A tonne of great cosmetic items inspired by Dead by Daylight’s characters, weapons, and stuff will be available to players.
These include outfits inspired by the infamous killers from Dead by Daylight. These rewards are available through mission achievement events, and unique Dead by Daylight profile effects are awarded for successfully completing all missions.
The Killer ensures that few teams return from the Fog. In other words, the players must avoid being massacred in addition to solving the mysteries of the Fog and making it out alive.
New State Mobile anniversary
From November 1 to 30, 2022, Krafton will host the New State Mobile anniversary event, including 15 new objectives (“one type each day”), anniversary costumes, parachutes, and weapon skins for the game. During the event, a stylish, unique lobby background will also be available, and players who check in between November 1 and November 15 will receive the “Kinda Cute Dance” emote.
The Bird that Drinks Tears
Additionally, Krafton just unveiled a brand-new visual teaser for their upcoming project, which is based on the Korean fantasy book The Bird That Drinks Tears. The teaser “illustrates” what viewers may expect from future entertainment ventures based on the IP, according to the developer, and “directs the artistic and tonal approaches taken by a variety of multimedia productions based on The Bird That Drinks Tears, such as a graphic novel and motion picture.”
