Cassel games was founded back in 2019 by a team of students from Sogang game school in South Korea. The startup includes a total of six members, SeonWoong Lee (Programmer), MinSu Kim(Concept Artist), GaYeon Ham(Card Illustrator), JunHyeok Park(Animator), TaeGyung Yeon(Object Designer), and SungJin Hwang(Game Director & Founder).
The Founder – SungJin Hwang
Since middle school, SungJin Hwang has been developing games on his own. While attending the Seogang Game School, Sung has worked on seven to eight-game projects. It’s his passion and determination to develop games.
Unlike other graduates, SungJin Hwang didn’t get a job at a Korean game company. Instead, he started to develop his own game, what we now call Ratropolis.

Although Cassel Games was founded in 2019, the startup has already won one too many rewards to showcase its greatness.
Cassel Games was awarded the golden prize in the bachelor category in Global Indie Game Development Contest. Furthermore, the startup got the Korean Game Academy Award by Global Game Challange Awards. In the Busan Indie Connect Festival 2019, Cassel Games bagged the Rising Star Award.
